The outcome
A coach-reviewed animation and a clear share-or-hold decision. This is a manual review guide with optional AI assistance, not an automatic quality or privacy check. Use the existing board and only the export options available to your account.
What you need
- A coach-approved drill brief and its current board version.
- Player counts, team and neutral roles, grid dimensions and units, equipment and movement intent.
- The intended audience, approved sharing channel and any permissions for labels or branding.
- Access to playback and an export option on your account; do not assume every format is included.
1. Freeze the version you are reviewing
Save the current drill and record a version label. Keep the original brief beside the board. If you change the drill after review, check the changed version again; yesterday’s export is not evidence for today’s edit.
2. Check the static setup
Count each team and each neutral separately. Neutrals need a third color that differs from both teams; keep a clear role legend as well. Confirm dimensions and units, boundaries, goals, cones and balls against the brief. A small training grid should not look like a full lined match pitch.
3. Follow every movement step
Play slowly, then inspect the start and end of each transition. The same player should retain its identity across steps. Check passes, runs and dribbles against the intended sequence, especially ball possession. Hold the export if a pass ends at a removed marker or an object disappears without explanation.
4. Inspect the actual exported file
Use an available export option, then open that file independently on a screen similar to the recipient’s phone. Check readable labels, framing, first and last frames, pacing and any looping behavior. A correct editor preview does not prove the export is correct. Do not bypass account limits or watermarks.
5. Review the audience and release deliberately
Remove unnecessary names, roster details or private notes. Confirm you may use any club branding and that the chosen channel matches the intended audience. Record the reviewed version and the coach’s share-or-hold decision; sharing is a separate human action, not performed by this guide.
Fictional example
The approved brief calls for 5v5 + 1 neutral in a 30 × 40-yard grid, with no goals. Blue and red identify the teams; yellow identifies the neutral. The setup matches, but the second step passes to a removed player marker. Mark the animation hold, repair the target and recheck both playback and the new export before sharing.
